The Christmas 2009 edition of Whole Hog discusses the latest decline in EU pig prices on its front page. Page 2 reports on a recent visit to Denmark by Whole Hog's editor and reviews the Danish pig industry's KPIs. The latest results for Danish Crown and bonus payments to Danish farmers are analysed on page 3. On page 4 the latest moves in the global pig price cycle are reviewed with reference to the state of the US economy.
